One of our customers had a problem today where they could not find older emails in Microsoft Outlook. One workaround so the customer can quickly find an email is to search for the email using Outlook Web Access instead. The search in Outlook Web Access will find any email that is on the mail server but it can be hard to filter the results if there are too many.
In order to search Outlook Web Access for emails between two dates you can use the following search method – just edit the dates or search term making sure you use either the sent: or received: flag.
keyword domainname.co.uk received:01/01/2019..30/05/2019
keyword domainname.co.uk sent:01/01/2019..30/05/2019
More information in how to perform more powerful searches in Outlook, including this method, can be found here.
