Microsoft Summer 2026 Price Hikes

We only made $101 Billion in 2025, please can we have some more.

Microsoft has confirmed yet another round of price hikes, with Microsoft 365 plans becoming more expensive from 1st July 2026. No plans are spared — all commercial and non-profit packages are affected, with or without Teams.

What this means for you:

  • New customers will be hit with the higher prices immediately.
  • Existing customers won’t escape either — the increases will kick in at their next renewal date on or after 1st July 2026.
  • Exact UK pricing won’t be confirmed until just 30 days before the change, leaving little time to plan.

Microsoft is dressing this up as a reflection of “added value,” pointing to AI tools and security updates — features many customers never asked for and may not need.

What You Need to Know:

Unfortunately, price increases are becoming an all too familiar occurrence with Microsoft, and this latest round is no exception. From 1st July 2026, Microsoft 365 plans will become more expensive across the board, affecting all commercial and non-profit customers — and with Microsoft showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to rising costs, it’s important to be prepared.

They continue to bundle in new features — whether you want them or not — and pass the bill on to customers. Whilst the timing and scale of these increases will frustrate many businesses, the changes are coming regardless, and now is the time to take stock of your Microsoft 365 licences and assess what this means for your budget.

We strongly recommend reviewing your current subscriptions as soon as possible to understand the full impact on your costs. If you’re looking to minimise the impact or explore your options before the new pricing kicks in, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team — we’ll do our best to help you navigate these unwelcome changes and ensure you’re not caught off guard when July 2026 arrives.
