Setting up a Hosted Exchange Mailbox on your iPhone

This guidance applies only to Hosted Exchange Users whose mailboxes are hosted and supported by IT Norwich Ltd. The following procedure explains how to set up your mailbox in an iPhone.

Select Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > choose Microsoft Exchange


On the next screen enter the mailbox email address and a description of your account, and then press Next.

When prompted to, do NOT send your password to Microsoft – they don’t need it! Instead, press Configure Manually.

You are then prompted for the mailbox password. Enter it now and then press Next.

After a few moments you will be present with a new screen, in which you should enter these extra details:

Server –

Domain – leave blank

Username – enter the email address

Password – this should be prefilled – if not enter the password

Upon completion you can choose which types of data to sync with your Exchange account:
