There are two ways to work with us : have us actively looking after your systems every day so problems get caught early, or pay only for support as and when you need it. Both give you full access to our team, but the difference is whether you’re paying proactively, with predictable monthly costs and far fewer surprises, or reactively, as things come up.
A Block Hours IT Support Agreement is the recommended option for most businesses and charities. You get a set amount of support time every month at a discounted rate, plus proactive monitoring 1 that often catches and fixes problems before you’ve even noticed them – all for a predictable monthly cost, with unused hours rolling over for up to 12 months to cover busier periods, and any extra time beyond that simply billed at our standard rate.
An Ad-Hoc IT Support Agreement is a good fit if your needs are occasional, or you’d rather not commit to a monthly cost – you simply pay for the time we spend helping you, as and when you need it. As this option doesn’t include our monitoring software, we won’t be watching your systems for problems day to day, so you’ll need your own arrangements in place for things like backup, security and patch management.

My current provider offers an unlimited support package. Do you?
No, we don’t. We’d encourage you to check the small print on any “unlimited” plan you’re offered. In our experience, they usually exclude the things you’d assume were included, like on-site visits, or larger projects such as onboarding new starters or replacing hardware. A Block Hours Agreement works differently: your hours are genuinely yours to use however you need, with no hidden exclusions. You can read more about this here: The Magical Thinking of “Unlimited IT Support” Plans.

1 Our proactive monitoring relies on our RMM software being installed across your systems, which is a required part of every Block Hours IT Support Agreement.
2 All prices exclude VAT, these values are based on our pricing for 2026.
3 All Block Hours Support Agreements operate on a calendar year basis, running from January 1st to December 31st. Your initial agreement term may therefore vary between one and twelve months to align with this calendar schedule, with subsequent contracts running for full 12-month periods.
4 Cyber Essentials guidance, recommendations, and best-practice configuration are included as standard with every Block Hours Agreement. Whether your systems actually achieve full compliance depends on you and your team following that guidance.
