Community Technology Programme 2026

Thank you for your interest in our Community Technology Programme Annual Sponsorship.

In 2026 we will be sponsoring one charity or social enterprise with eight hours of FREE IT support per month (for a whole year).

Previous Beneficiaries:

  • 2024 – Wells Community Hospital Trust (Annual Review HERE)
  • 2025 – The Fairhaven Garden Trust (Annual Review HERE)

If you wish to benefit from this free IT support for 2026, please read on:

You may apply for this annual sponsorship only if you run a registered charity or social enterprise* within Norfolk. Though it is not essential we also prefer to deal with organisations that benefit the people of Norfolk. The closing date for applications is 28th December 2025, a decision as to which organisations will receive sponsorship will be made by noon on 5th January 2026.

* We define Social Enterprise as a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community, rather than being driven by the need to maximise profit for shareholders and owners. If you apply as a social enterprise your organisation will be asked to evidence this.

IMPORTANT

In order for us to provide IT support to you in a meaningful way require that – in addition to the free support indicated above – you obtain one or two of our other services which attract a small monthly charge. We will only engage with organisations that take their IT seriously and the two key services we recommend are as follows:

THE SMALL PRINT

If your organisation is selected to benefit from this annual sponsorship:

  • Your organisation will receive eight hours of IT support time per month free of charge.
  • The free IT support time should generally be used up in support tasks but can be “rolled over” and accrued each month until the sponsorship ends.
  • Your organisation may be asked to participate in a case study or provide testimonials about the work we’ve done.
  • The sponsored organisation may use more than the amount of free support provided, though these “overages” are charged for.
  • Such overages are charged for at our standard hourly rate with a 20% discount applied.
  • If we pay you a visit we will charge you a site fee, with a 50% discount applied.
  • All prices quoted exclude VAT.

SHORTLISTING VISIT

If your application is shortlisted for sponsorship we will organise a visit so we can have a chat and look around your site. It gives us a chance to meet you and your staff. We’ll be able to discuss any queries we have about the application and have a quick “hands off” inspection of your IT system before we make a final decision.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT(S)

If your application is successful we’ll let you know on or soon after the 5th January 2026 and will start the onboarding process shortly afterwards.
